Looks like we have more real estate activity going on in Nashville. No surprise there! The West End will be seeing a new condo development soon. Tom McCormick, a Nashville developer plans to break ground on his latest project sometime in September. The condos will be named Mezzo Lofts West End and will be a total of 10 units. The location is at 3210 Long Blvd and will be replacing a residential home.
It appears the new West End condos will be done with luxury buyers in mind. The new 3-story condos will have features such as floor to ceiling glass, underground parking, Viking kitchen appliances, and an elevator that leads to the rooftop terrace where residents can enjoy an outdoor kitchen. In total, the project is expected to cost roughly $5 million.
McCormick shares his thought process of building a more luxurious development in the Nashville Post, saying
“We have taken a lot of time to get the project correct. We didn’t try to squeeze too many bedrooms into a small space and, in the process, sacrifice space in the kitchens and living rooms.”
According to McCormick, Mezzo Lofts will be more contemporary in design. He sates, “We wanted to add value to the design and, in particular, through a modern design. Part of the process was to think through the objections that would keep somebody from buying”
McCormick’s plan is to offer 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos, with floor plans ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 square feet. So what should the potential home buyer expect to pay for one of these? As of right now, estimates are anywhere from $300,000 to $740,000. Looking at their website, I don’t see a reason why these new West End condos will have any issues finding a buyer. What are your thoughts?
