12th Annual MAFIAoZA’S Music City Brewer’s Festival

 

Dates:  July 27Music City Brewers Festival

Time:  Session A 12-4pm, Session B 6-10pm

Where:  Walk of Fame Park

Brewers from around the country call the Music City Brewer’s Festival one of the best festivals they participate in all year! Sample beer from over 50 local, regional and national breweries. Live music by the San Rafael Quartet, Johnny Neel, Guthrie Trapp, and Mike Bauer. Food from area restaurants will be available for purchase. This festival has two sessions. The only session with tickets remaining is shift A: noon – 4 pm. Event patrons are welcome to bring camping chairs and blankets. This is a 21 or older event and there will be no re-entry once inside the gates. A portion of ticket sales benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee

Frist Fridays Featuring The Long Players

Dates:  July 26

Time:  6pm – 9pm

Where:  Frist Center For Visual Arts

Now in its eleventh year, this popular summer concert series takes place on the last Friday of the month from June to August! Patrons are invited to enjoy an evening of live music, light snacks and beverages as well as the diverse exhibitions on view in the Frist Center’s galleries. The Long Players will perform in the courtyard. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and Frist Fridays take place rain or shine. No admission charge for members. Non-members pay $10.

Music City Triathlon and Kids’ Duathlon

 

Dates:  July 28

Time:  7:30 am

Where:  LP Field

The 5th Annual Music City Triathlon. Swim the Cumberland River (1.5k), bike through East Nashville (40k) on a completely closed and traffic-free Ellington Parkway, and run (10k) through downtown Nashville. There is also a shorter course option with a 400 yard swim, 20k bike, 5k run. Plus, a Kids Duathlon on Saturday. Non-racers are encouraged to watch and cheer on the participants!
