 Race Across The Spectrum 5KRace across the spectrum - Nashville

 Make a direct difference in the life of a young child and their family by joining us for our 4th annual 5K Race Across the Spectrum in support of research-based early intervention for young children impacted by Autism in Middle Tennessee.

Sounds Like SummerSounds Like Summer - Nashville

 Dates:  July 19-20

Time:  8:30 pm

Where:  Mercy Lounge

This is concert series is both Friday and Saturday.  The lineup includes The Features,
Morning Teleportation, Those Darlins, Turbo Fruits, The Weeks, The Whigs and The Kingston Springs and many more with 24 shows throughout the weekend.  Check out the office Mercy Lounge Website for more information.

Big Band Dances


Dates:  July 20

Time:  7-10 pm

Where:  Centennial Park

2013 will be the 30th anniversary of Big Band Dances in Metro Parks! Spend your summer Saturday nights dancing and listening to live Big Band music played by some of Nashville’s finest musicians. For the ultimate experience bring your own lawn chair and picnic basket.

Jazz On The Cumberland

Dates: July 21

Time:  5:30 – 8:00 pm

Where:  Cumberland Park

Enjoy live jazz on the third Sunday of every month through October. The Joe Johnson Band will perform on Sunday, July 21 in the park’s amphitheater. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome at this event. Food available for purchase from local food trucks.

Full Moon Picking

Dates: July 19

Time:  7-11 pm

Where: Percy Warner Park Equestrian Center

             2500 Old Hickory Blvd

These laid-back, family-friendly fundraisers feature Middle Tennessee’s finest bluegrass music under the light of a full moon. Musicians and music lovers alike are invited to enjoy this beloved Nashville tradition. Bluegrass and roots pickers jam in circles under the trees and around the grounds, while three headlining acts perform on the main stage.


All funds raised by the Pickin’ Parties will go directly toward protecting the Warner Parks.
