If you think Nashville has hit its peak, you may want to think again. As reported by MarketWatch, a recent study by Oxford Economics took a look at key economic trends across the world from now until 2035 and create its rankings of the world’s largest and fastest-growing urban economies. New York will still be the large urban economy but Oxford projects 24 cities to grow at a higher rate, with Nashville landing in the #6 spot.
This lofty ranking seems all too possible for a city that has seen its population double over the last 40 years and also just landed the prized Amazon’s Operational Hub. With more and more companies flocking to Tennessee to escape high tax states, this trend should only continue if not increase.
This is obviously great news for homeowners in Metro Nashville and should also be comforting to prospective homebuyers that are wondering if they’re buying at the market’s peak.
